About Jiguar

Jiguar is a health mobile app that helps parents to screen their children for any developmental, behavioral, cognitive, or mental health concerns, from newborn to 18 years of age. It also connects the parents to the providers that are involved in the care plan of their child through easy and quick online (virtual) and in-office appointment scheduling. Jiguar offers telemedicine and teletherapy services to the parents with their favorite doctors and gives access to all the health data and other resources for their child’s health.


Is Jiguar a healthcare provider?

Jiguar is a not a healthcare provider. Jiguar provides healthcare technology product, which enables providers that take part in the child’s care plan to collaborate and connect with the parent/patient.

Who can register for Jiguar?

All parents or legal guardians of children from newborn to 18 years of age can register for Jiguar. All providers that take part in the care plan of the child such as the Pediatricians, Neurologists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational therapists, Physical Therapists, ABA therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, MNRI Specialists, Special Educators, Family Physicians, Adolescent Medicine Doctors, Sports physicians, Schools , Day Care Centers, Child Developmental Centers, Fitness Centers can also register in the Jiguar Provider Network after submitting the Provider Registration Form.

Are there any registration fees?

No. There are no registrations fees. Both the parents and the providers can download Jiguar app and register for free

Can every healthcare provider join Jiguar?

Only the healthcare providers that are involved in the child’s care plan can join Jiguar. These providers include Pediatricians, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Neurologists, Child Developmental Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical therapists, ABA specialists, Speech Therapists, MNRI specialists, Sports Physicians, Adolescent medicine doctors, Family Physicians, Educators.

I am a provider looking to join Jiguar network. How can I submit my request?

It is quite simple. You can click on Join Jiguar Network. This will display the registration form that the provider can fill and submit. Once Jiguar verifies the information submitted and validates credentials, we will provide you with login detail to Jiguar network through the email address provided to us

Can I call Jiguar to book my appointments over the phone?

Unfortunately, you can only book appointments through the Jiguar app. You have the flexibility to book appointment either online or in-office appointments through the app. Your provider gets notified instantaneously and you will get a confirmation after the provider accepts your appointment. You will be able to browse through both tele-med and in-office time slots for every provider you choose to consult.

How will I know if my appointment is confirmed?

After your request for an appointment is sent to the provider. You will receive a notification confirming your appointment or an option to reschedule your appointment. You will also receive a notification half hour before the schedule time and so will the provider.

What if my appointment is cancelled or rescheduled by doctor’s office? What should I do next?

If you get a cancellation or reschedule notification from the doctors office, you have to log in your Jiguar app and choose another appointment for your child from the available times that are displayed in your screen for that particular provider or select a different provider.

What Data does Jiguar collect?

Jiguar stores your child’s health information that is provided by you which includes the developmental milestone questionnaire, questionnaire related to the child’s academic performance, Intake history that includes all the health concerns, birth history, family history and previous/ongoing therapies.

Does any of my health information leaves the country?

No, your data will not leave the country in which you reside.

Is Jiguar HIPAA complaint?

Yes. Jiguar is a HIPAA compliant app. Keeping your information secure is a top priority for us. We follow few mandatory requirements at Jiguar such as privacy and security training, strong encryption, secure storage (Data at rest security), Security Assessments and Auditing and smart features.

Who has access to my information on Jiguar platform?

Parents and legal guardians that register in Jiguar, have access to all their child’s health data and their correspondence with the providers. The authorized providers also have access to the information that the parent shares in the app.

I have more than one child. Do I need to create multiple accounts?

Jiguar provides you with the ability to create multiple child profiles under one account.

Can I send the answered questionnaire to the provider from the list? Will I be billed?

You will NOT be billed for sending your answered questionnaire to the providers.

How do the parents pay for the tele-consultation services to the providers?

Parents can pay for the tele-consultation either directly by using the credit card payment method platform on the app or pay through their insurance coverage which is billed separately by the provider.

Can I see my child’s health data in the app?

Yes. The parents have all the information of their child’s intake forms, reviews and suggestions from the providers, reports and all other related information on the app at any time.

What do I benefit from Jiguar?

Parents can get instantaneous results regarding any developmental, behavioral, cognitive, and mental concerns in their child. They can share these concerns with their favorite providers and get feedback from them instantly. Parents can have tele-therapy and tele-consultation with their child’s providers from any where and even schedule in-office and out-of-clinic appointments. Parents can access their child’s health data.
