Dear Madam/Sir,
Greetings!
This comes regarding our work in collaboration with the team of Jiguar, an application developed to track child's growth and development. It also works for early detection and interventions for neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders in children.

I and my team are involved in the development of a questionnaire to screen for signs likely to give rise to Learning Disability at a later age in children.

This is important as the test designed for the diagnosis for LD in India requires the child to be of age 8 years or more. It is true that the child should be of a school going age to capture these problems but there is a lot of evidence that shows that the children start showing subtle signs like those related to visual perception, motor planning, cognitive skills etc which can indicate the chances of development of Learning Disability. If we pick these signs as early as 3 or 4 years of age and try to work on them through various activities as prophylactic prevention it can help reduce the burden on the Indian education system to deal with disabilities associated with learning and increase educational quality and output. It will also help boost the children's morale and confidence.

We are glad to be a part of this great opportunity and endeavour towards a better future for the children.
